Responsibilities
- Define EY Fabric AI reference architectures for AI Factory, OpenAI integrations, GenAI workloads, model orchestration, agentic patterns, retrieval-based approaches, deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Create reusable AI design patterns, accelerators, architecture blueprints, starter kits, integration templates, evaluation frameworks, monitoring patterns, prompts, and implementation guidance.
- Define responsible AI guardrails covering access controls, data boundaries, auditability, monitoring, human oversight, and operational risk management.
- Evaluate AI solution designs for scalability, security, privacy, cost, reliability, observability, and operational readiness.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex AI architecture questions and govern exceptions to standard AI patterns.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Risk, Reliability, Growth, and delivery teams to align patterns with platform and governance expectations.
- Maintain AI architecture assets in EY Fabric knowledge repositories and measure pattern adoption, reuse, implementation speed, and operational quality.
- Provide technical leadership, review architecture artifacts, and coach AI architects and senior engineers on approved patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of engineering experience with recent GenAI architecture experience and significant AI, ML, GenAI, or platform delivery experience.
- Strong experience designing and governing production AI, ML, or GenAI systems.
- Experience creating reusable AI patterns, accelerators, technical standards, implementation guides, or playbooks.
- Familiarity with AI Factory concepts, OpenAI-style integrations, model orchestration, RAG patterns, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Strong cloud architecture fundamentals, including identity, networking, security, logging, and observability.
- Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, security, risk, and operational controls.
- Ability to communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and risks to technical and executive stakeholders and work across multiple teams.
- AI, cloud architecture, security, or data certifications are preferred.
