Responsibilities
- Develop solution architectures and road maps for Adobe-powered digital experience projects.
- Plan, design, and oversee construction of new solutions, extensions, and enhancements across the Adobe platform.
- Engage business sponsors and stakeholders to translate business needs into architectural approaches and actionable target architectures.
- Validate that engineering designs satisfy approved architectural solutions.
- Lead architecture governance, standards, compliance activities, logical modeling, and architecture framework development.
- Direct and mentor virtual architecture teams and guide teams on architecture methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Architect solutions using data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities while ensuring responsible use, governance, and scalability.
- Balance cost, risk, quality, business priorities, and technology considerations when evaluating solution alternatives.
- Manage solution architecture for assigned programs and mature linkages across Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
- Build relationships with business, IT, vendors, and global teams while communicating the value of Solution Architecture.
- Contribute to global technology standards, exceptions, reusable architecture assets, and the evolution of the Solution Architecture function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with the Adobe product family as a Solution Architect.
- Enterprise-scale Adobe implementation experience and strong understanding of digital experience platforms.
- Deep expertise in the Adobe CX Stack.
- Experience in application development, deployment or implementation, infrastructure, and significant IT infrastructure and security projects.
- Strong analytical, leadership, judgment, conflict-resolution, negotiation, facilitation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and assess the financial and architectural impact of alternatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change across multiple geographies.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with clients, business leaders, engineering teams, and architecture stakeholders.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends including personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile, and data-driven experience optimization.
- Willingness to work outside typical hours when required by a global team and travel on a very limited basis.
- Adobe certifications, ITIL familiarity, professional services or global IT organization experience, Information Security knowledge, IIBA BABOK Practice Standards familiarity, and enterprise search implementation experience are preferred.
