Responsibilities
- Develop Java and Kotlin backend services for various NAVER products.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture design.
- Work on large-scale, high-traffic backend systems.
- Manage job schedules and lead team members.
- Collaborate effectively in English and communicate with teammates.
- Apply a proactive, committed, and positive approach to work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working on backend systems with Java or Kotlin applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Framework.
- Experience or strong knowledge of microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
- Experience or strong knowledge of at least one of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with message queues such as Kafka.
- Understanding and experience with data structures, algorithms, distributed services, and object-oriented programming.
- Ability to manage job schedules and lead members.
- Strong general communication skills and English proficiency.
- DevOps and CI/CD experience is a plus.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems such as HBase or Vitese is a plus.
- Experience designing server architectures for massive traffic is a plus.
- Korean proficiency is preferred.
