Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish design, development, and operational standards.
- Partner with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and enhance system performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical communities and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred: 3+ years with databases and database management systems, cloud technologies, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, and observability.
- Preferred: 4+ years contributing to open-source frameworks and creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred: 3+ years with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, cross-functional engineering efforts, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Preferred: at least 1 year mentoring engineers and driving professional development within technical teams.
