Lead Engineer - Cyber Security
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Develop and implement OT cybersecurity strategies and solutions for gas power control systems.
- Translate customer cybersecurity requirements for new product introduction teams and develop related test plans.
- Deploy lifecycle tools and technologies for application sizing, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for OT cybersecurity questions and guidance.
- Document cybersecurity procedures, evaluate virtualization technologies, and implement firewall, IDS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Train and coordinate global teams, mentor engineers, and support field personnel with technical issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or above in electronics, computer, software, controls-instrumentation, industrial automation engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience in control server or network design.
- Hands-on experience with network, compute, data, storage, and application security principles for on-premises and cloud applications.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, problem-identification, and solution-development skills.
- Knowledge of NERC/CIP and IEC 62443 standards is desired.
- Ability to coordinate multiple programs and work effectively in a global, cross-functional, multicultural environment.
