Base Salary
$223k - $308k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of high-impact, member-facing systems across the Growth stack.
- Set the technical vision for high-traffic systems with a scalable approach.
- Drive experimentation strategy and execution to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
- Identify and solve systemic challenges in performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and Data teams to ensure technical feasibility.
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering practices across teams.
- Represent Chime externally through recruiting and community engagement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Deep understanding of system design and product-engineering tradeoffs.
- Proven track record of driving measurable impact on business and engineering goals.
- Experience with experimentation, including test design and analysis.
- Ability to influence technical and product direction across teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment; Fintech experience is a plus.
