Responsibilities

Translate vague product requirements into thoughtful, high-quality software from initial concept through production.
Develop UI components and associated backend logic across the full technology stack.
Shape the product’s visual appearance, user experience, and design system.
Engage directly with users to understand needs and prioritize features and improvements.
Own the quality, testing, and performance of implemented solutions.

Demonstrated experience successfully developing and launching web products with a focus on simple and effective solutions.
Deep experience with Ruby on Rails and willingness to work across the full technology stack.
Very good knowledge of modern CSS and Tailwind, with strong attention to UI details and animations.
Proven ability to create accessible and intuitive user interfaces without dedicated designers.
High standards for reliable code, thorough testing, and stable systems.
Willingness to experiment with and use modern tools and workflows to move quickly.
Experience with AI, e-commerce, fashion, or media-intensive applications is a plus.
A portfolio, live applications, or open-source contributions is a plus.
