Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack product features, including data models and interfaces for attorneys and clients.
- Translate legal workflows and review playbooks into production-grade software with domain experts and AI engineers.
- Make architecture and tooling decisions for rapid development and future needs.
- Write maintainable code, improve reliability, and own features in production.
- Help establish engineering standards, culture, and hiring as the team grows.
Requirements
- Three to four years of professional engineering experience, including production software development at an early-stage company or as a founder.
- Full-stack skills including TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience building with AI or large language models, professionally or through personal projects.
- Experience owning features from conception through deployment and building reliable systems for complex workflows.
- A completed computer science degree and strong product instincts.
- Experience with legal technology, contract management, document processing, or direct work with domain experts is helpful.
Benefits
- Base salary of $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, six days per week.
- Relocation is not employer-funded.
