Base Salary
$190k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch backend services and capabilities.
- Improve the overall quality of SmarterDx applications.
- Process and analyze clinical data at scale.
- Collaborate across disciplines to understand users and iterate on ideas.
- Research and advocate for improved engineering techniques, processes, and designs.
- Use secure coding practices to protect patient privacy and security.
- Support applications in production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience focused on backend and cloud-based solutions.
- Expertise in Python and/or Go.
- Experience with Postgres or a similar relational database.
- Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and working with event-driven architectures.
- Experience in a security-conscious environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes work at a scale-up or rapid-growth technology company, health tech or hospital billing systems, Kubernetes, HL7/FHIR and other EHR technologies, and Snowflake.
