Base Salary
$180k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and operate Kubernetes container orchestration and supporting infrastructure across Adyen’s global private cloud.
- Develop provisioning, configuration management, and operational automation that enables self-service and reduces manual work.
- Own the availability and performance of critical platform systems and participate in on-call rotations.
- Drive incident response, postmortem processes, reliability improvements, and operational standardization.
- Collaborate with global platform engineering teams across regions and datacenters.
- Contribute to architecture, platform modernization, migration strategies, multi-region resilience, and infrastructure standardization.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of platform, infrastructure, or software engineering experience.
- Advanced Linux system administration, TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, firewall, and security fundamentals.
- Hands-on Kubernetes expertise at scale, including cluster operations, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with on-premises and bare-metal infrastructure, hardware lifecycle, storage, and datacenter operations.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Bash and intermediate-to-advanced Python or Go skills, with the ability to build production-quality tooling.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault, and ArgoCD or comparable GitOps workflows.
- Preferred experience with FinTech or regulated industries, Ansible, Puppet, HAProxy, Nginx, and infrastructure-as-code at scale.

- Annual base salary range of $180,000-$243,000, plus equity, 401(k), health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
