Responsibilities
- Understand business and technology problems or opportunities with partners and translate requirements into architectural solutions.
- Design, document, communicate, and govern scalable, reusable, resilient, and secure technology solutions.
- Guide technology obsolescence, component reuse, platform modernization, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Lead architecture reviews and take designs through onboarding and architecture assurance processes.
- Support implementation from infrastructure setup through delivery with light-touch oversight.
- Provide cost-estimation support during budget cycles and empower development teams to deliver architectural designs.
- Champion emerging technologies, automation, efficiencies, and knowledge sharing within the technology community.
- Incorporate AI governance, security, compliance, generative AI, agentic AI, and cloud AI/ML capabilities into solution design where appropriate.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and communicating technology solutions traceable to requirements.
- Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders at varying levels of seniority in changing environments.
- Significant experience with MEAN/MERN, .NET Core, Python, middleware technologies, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, OAuth, SAML, containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures, secure-by-design concepts, secure DevOps, big data, data lakes, BI tools, and application performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of AI evolution and business impact, AI governance and ethics, data privacy, GDPR, HIPAA, generative AI, LLMs, NLP, computer vision, GPT, Gemini, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic AI, and cloud AI/ML services.
- Experience or knowledge of AI-augmented development tools such as GitHub Copilot and model training and deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Self-motivation, initiative, adaptability, effective communication, and willingness to collaborate with data architects, AI engineers, and technical experts.
