Responsibilities
- Lead customer application migrations to Google Cloud Platform, including lift-and-shift and modernization strategies.
- Create infrastructure architectures, target-state designs, and technical documentation across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams, including cloud engineers and database engineers across geographies.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer stakeholders.
- Embed security, compliance, and governance into technical design and delivery.
- Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, testing, and CI/CD.
- Manage technical dependencies, identify risks and issues, propose mitigations, and track them through resolution.
- Govern delivery quality, risk management, and automation best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering cloud migrations for large-scale enterprise workloads in regulated industries.
- Experience with architecture services and deep understanding of GCP core services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code expertise, such as Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes and database migrations.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Cloud Build for infrastructure automation and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of data integration, ETL tools such as Informatica, and cloud pipeline modernization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
