Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end software using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Build and maintain applications using C#, .NET, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL queries.
- Work on products using SOA or microservices architecture.
- Implement non-functional requirements related to reliability and performance.
- Address architecture concerns and apply object-oriented design principles.
- Write well-factored, optimized, unit-tested code following software development best practices.
- Manage performance issues in C# and SQL applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues reported from lower and higher environments.
- Provide technical input and guide 2–4 software engineers through implementation.
- Work effectively with people from different disciplines and geographies in an international environment.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience developing end-to-end software using Microsoft technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL queries.
- Experience with at least one SOA or microservices architecture-style product.
- Strong understanding of UML, object-oriented programming, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience implementing reliability and performance requirements and addressing architecture concerns.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and code quality principles.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience leading 2–4 software engineers and providing technical guidance.
- WPF experience or knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with Scrum in a scaled Agile team environment is preferred.
- Experience with ATDD/TDD is preferred; FitNesse or Postman experience is a plus.
- Experience building applications with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
- Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work as a team player.
