Base Salary
$187k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of innovative products and systems.
- Independently architect and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Lead large initiatives, breaking down ambiguous requirements into technical plans.
- Design for scale and reliability, anticipating technical challenges.
- Write well-documented, well-tested code following best practices.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentorship.
- Partner with product management and design to translate customer needs.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and LLMs for compliance workflows.
- Establish and improve standards of code quality and architecture.
- Own end-to-end delivery of critical features.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with increasing scope.
- Experience as a technical lead on significant projects.
- Strong experience building backend systems and APIs for cloud applications.
- Solid understanding of frontend development for full-stack solutions.
- Proven ability to design scalable, robust software architectures.
- Track record of independently scoping and driving initiative-level work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
- Interest in learning about life sciences.
