Base Salary
$100k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Financial Advisors, field leaders, and business stakeholders to identify and validate high-value agentic workflow opportunities.
- Lead rapid proof-of-concept cycles and design multi-agent interactions across vendor, enterprise, and internal agents.
- Act as Product Owner for agentic workflows, defining use cases, success metrics, validated solution patterns, and iteration plans.
- Develop reusable agent design patterns covering prompting, orchestration, memory, tool usage, retrieval, and escalation paths.
- Align agentic solutions with approved enterprise frameworks, architecture, platform standards, and governance requirements.
- Manage and develop Context Engineers and Prompt Engineers and establish best practices for context design, retrieval, and agent behavior tuning.
- Travel approximately 25% to branches and field locations to observe workflows, validate usability, and drive adoption.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of total engineering experience, including 2–3+ years specifically building agentic or LLM systems beyond prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with RAG architecture, including chunking tradeoffs, retrieval failures, and evaluation.
- Experience building or extending tool-integration layers that connect LLM agents to external systems.
- Strong Python backend development skills with FastAPI, Pydantic, asynchronous programming, and streaming responses.
- Proven experience building and deploying agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent systems, orchestration frameworks, and tool-using agents.
- Strong understanding of agent frameworks, architectures, memory models, tool integration, and event-driven agents.
- Experience operating as a builder and product-owner hybrid with judgment about when to use AI versus deterministic automation.
- Experience designing workflow-driven automation and working across business, engineering, and enterprise governance functions.
- Leadership experience managing technical talent and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services and familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce are preferred.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, AI risk, model governance, explainability frameworks, and human-centered design is preferred.
