Responsibilities

  • Understand and solve business needs at scale through high-quality software solutions.
  • Build and operate resilient services and infrastructure on an event-based microservice platform.
  • Create metrics, dashboards, and alerts to measure service performance, errors, and availability against SLOs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production issues.
  • Build services using AWS Lambda, EKS, S3, EC2, RDS, and DocumentDB.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and address customer pain points using appropriate engineering principles.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience with Java, Go, or similar object-oriented languages.
  • Experience debugging in production.
  • Ability to design, build, and operate highly scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant services.
  • Working understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science is required.
  • Master's degree in computer science is preferred.
  • Development experience with Spring is a preferred qualification.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
