Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement and support ServiceNow modules including Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow application and workflow issues.
- Develop technical documentation such as design specifications, user guides, and support procedures.
- Provide end-user and IT staff training and support.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of directly related experience.
- Experience configuring the ServiceNow service platform and implementing and supporting multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and their relationship to ServiceNow modules.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
