Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert across core areas of the CXO platform and set standards for code quality, maintainability, and architecture.
- Drive technical decisions, lead design reviews, and contribute to major architectural decisions for complex systems.
- Own large cross-system initiatives, define success metrics, and measure post-delivery impact.
- Improve system cost, scalability, and operational stability.
- Engage with customers to understand needs, document pain points, and drive improvements across teams.
- Improve documentation, design and code review practices, onboarding, and other team processes.
- Identify customer-experience opportunities and contribute them to the product roadmap.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers and customer-facing stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with deep full-stack development expertise.
- Strong command of Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex multi-system initiatives, setting architectural standards, and influencing technical direction.
- Experience building customer-facing products and collaborating with product managers and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Hands-on production experience operating high-scale data systems involving billions of records.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka, SQS, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and Snowflake, including data-access layers, sharded and partitioned systems, schema and query optimization, and ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments; AWS experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience building products or workflows powered by LLMs or Agentic AI.
- Experience enabling and mentoring engineers.
- Strong communication, collaboration, autonomy, and project execution skills.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
- Preferred experience includes high-scale streaming, batch, or real-time enrichment pipelines; microservices or micro-frontend architectures; workshops and internal knowledge-sharing; and technical recruiting participation.
