Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible application services and establish engineering standards for embedding Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Lead integration of production ML pipelines, optimized model serving, and real-time geometry analysis in the application layer.
- Define reliability, security, multi-tenant, and enterprise deployment standards for partner-hosted and Xometry-hosted environments.
- Establish ring-fenced data governance so partner part files remain securely within the partner’s network infrastructure.
- Set strategic direction and lead execution for the core enterprise integration across multiple products and teams.
- Facilitate technical decisions, communicate risk and investment tradeoffs to senior leadership and partners, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience and a history of scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and NextJS.
- Experience shaping the technical direction of multiple teams and establishing organization-wide engineering patterns.
- Track record of gaining endorsement for and delivering 6–12 month initiatives through production deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with SaaS platforms, complex B2B integration hubs, manufacturing, logistics, CAD/PLM ecosystems, enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, SOC2/ISO compliance, distributed systems, large-scale ML platforms, or high-frequency marketplace engines.
