Responsibilities
- Ensure architecture supports the technical needs and requirements of execution teams.
- Maintain and evolve microservices, AWS environments, and information-security practices.
- Administer and manage AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes/EKS clusters and workloads.
- Deploy applications to Kubernetes using Helm.
- Monitor production systems, analyze logs, and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
- Create and maintain automation tools using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and related technologies.
- Perform root-cause analysis and postmortems.
- Provide development teams with guidance on DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with IT, architecture, security, infrastructure, development, operations, and business teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix, server administration, networking, protocols, and distributed-system troubleshooting.
- Practical experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient AWS cloud architectures.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or comparable automation and configuration-management tools.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
- Experience administering AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes/EKS clusters and workloads.
- Experience using Helm for Kubernetes application deployments.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases, including Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
- Experience with GitOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
