Responsibilities
- Derive test plans from product requirements and review test plans and procedures for adequacy, completeness, and correctness.
- Design and enhance test infrastructure and automation frameworks for regression and feature validation.
- Write Python-based test cases and integrate them into regression infrastructure and test analytics dashboards.
- Design test frameworks that integrate with orchestration and management workflows, APIs, AWS, Azure, and container ecosystems.
- Define build-pipeline YAML for automatically triggering deployment, regression, agent-integration, and commit-review workflows.
- Build monitoring, reporting, and data-mining tools for performance and capacity testing and analysis.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with software and test engineers on resolutions.
- Track and document defects in JIRA and validate program functionality, output, screens, and content.
- Gather test-engineer requirements for automation calls and use the in-house Python framework and Selenium for front-end UI validation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least two years of QA experience or bachelor’s degree with at least four years of QA experience.
- Knowledge of quality-assurance terminology, methods, tools, testing best practices, version-control practices, and defect-management practices.
- Strong attention to detail, passion for quality, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
