Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java & Spring Boot.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Break down complex tasks into manageable components and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code with various tests.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD workflows.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Own end-to-end development and testing of features.
- Identify and document test plans and use cases.
- Drive technical design and implementation of complex features and services.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.
- Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and technical roadmap discussions.
- Contribute to improving engineering excellence through automation, observability, and operational best practices.
- Support production systems through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development for enterprise-grade, customer-facing applications.
- Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Deep expertise in building Microservices using advanced Java concepts and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Software Design Principles and Design Patterns.
- Skilled in build and dependency management tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Proficient in Git operations, including rebasing and conflict resolution.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Good grasp of System Design fundamentals.
- Practical knowledge of messaging systems like Google Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Familiar with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Harness.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
