Responsibilities
- Architect, design, document, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable features for Identity and Access Management systems.
- Apply software engineering practices and architectural and design patterns to complex distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain robust backend code primarily with NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Develop APIs for backend services and frontend code.
- Collaborate with product management, infrastructure, support functions, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, architecting, and building robust, complex, distributed web applications with system-level design as a core responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to design, document, and implement architectural and design patterns.
- Strong backend development skills with NodeJS and TypeScript, plus understanding of frontend technologies such as React.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Knowledge of IAM technologies such as Auth0, OAuth, OpenID, SAML, or Google Zanzibar is advantageous.
- Experience with Rust is advantageous.
