Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platform services across complex enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment pipelines, platform adoption, and developer experience.
  • Automate platform provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code and modern engineering practices.
  • Contribute to platform strategy, continuous improvement, operational support, virtualization, containerization, observability, resilience, and cloud-native delivery.
  • Implement and support platform security, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes container platforms in enterprise environments, including Advanced Cluster Management.
  • Experience with OpenShift Networking, OVN-K, enterprise networking, ingress, traffic management, and load balancing.
  • Experience configuring OpenShift Storage, OpenShift Data Foundation, enterprise storage arrays, CSI, and PV.
  • Experience with Linux system administration, container technologies, and cloud-native architecture principles.
  • Capability with automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and platform integration with GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable solutions.
  • Experience supporting highly available, regulated, or mission-critical environments is advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of service mesh, observability, DevSecOps, and cloud-native security practices is advantageous.
  • Relevant Red Hat, Kubernetes, cloud, or automation certifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Dell, HPE, or Cisco server configuration is advantageous.
  • Experience with NetApp or EMC storage technologies and VMware or Hyper-V hypervisors is advantageous.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV2 security clearance.
