Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using ELK and other observability tools.
- Apply cloud security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Support managed-services clients through shifts, on-call coverage, incident response, and after-hours deployments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, and ElastiCache.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
- Strong Linux administration experience with RHEL or an equivalent distribution.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Elastic Stack (ELK).
- Must be an Australian Citizen with an active security clearance.
