Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, performance, and lifecycle management of complex AWS cloud environments.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for platform issues and drive incident response and resolution.
- Manage identity and access controls, secure provisioning, and least-privilege adherence.
- Lead platform optimization for performance, reliability, security, efficiency, and cloud cost management.
- Review and evolve cloud architectures using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Oversee upgrades, patching, modernization, scalability improvements, and security governance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cloud engineering team.
- Build trusted client relationships, manage vendor escalations, and deliver strong customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, managing, and optimizing AWS cloud environments at scale.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, developer experience practices, and FinOps principles.
- Understanding of cloud networking, security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams in Cloud, DevOps, Operations, or Managed Services environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and perform effectively under pressure.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional certification is highly regarded.
