Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test software features and system components.
- Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other system errors.
- Collaborate with domestic and international Autodesk Construction Solutions teams.
- Participate in code reviews and pull requests, including having personal code reviewed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of backend and distributed systems engineering experience.
- Experience with SQL and Postgres databases.
- Ability to resolve complex technical challenges and translate complex software problems into technical tasks.
- Strong communication skills for working with managers, customers, and software developers.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-friendly distributed team and manage changing conditions and multiple projects.
Benefits
- Hybrid work based in the Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver office.
- Canadian base salary range of $88,000 to $128,700, with offers based on experience and geographic location.
- Potential annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
