Base Salary
$170k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, performant full-stack solutions.
- Build and maintain patient-facing interfaces, backend services, integrations, and asynchronous event-driven workflows.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, code reviews, and knowledge sharing for engineers.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, data, and engineering teams to launch features and improve patient experiences.
- Develop prototypes, experiments, and optimization initiatives based on patient, product, and operational metrics.
- Improve system scalability, reliability, performance, development workflows, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
- Ensure integrations and systems meet requirements for data accuracy, privacy, compliance, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building production web products with strong full-stack skills.
- Proficiency with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GraphQL, Nest.js, PostgresDB, Redis, and Amazon SQS.
- Experience delivering scalable web applications and services in a modern cloud environment.
- Experience operating third-party integrations and asynchronous, event-driven workflows involving queues, webhooks, retries, and idempotency.
- Experience with feature flag systems and experimentation platforms such as GrowthBook, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly.
- Fluency in web performance optimization, accessibility, modern UI engineering, event instrumentation, analytics debugging, and basic SQL.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated unit testing, and integration testing.
- Strong product judgment, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Healthcare or other regulated-domain experience, including HIPAA or PHI handling, is a bonus.
