Base Salary
$190k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design solution, application, data, and cloud architectures and develop feasibility studies, technical concepts, proofs of concept, and scalable software solutions.
- Assess technology, application landscapes, code, products, software packages, and IT architectures to identify optimization and modernization opportunities.
- Support IT transformation during mergers and acquisitions, restructure IT processes and organizations, and optimize application development processes.
- Design implementation work packages, evaluate enterprise solutions, and provide quality assurance oversight for IT implementation projects.
- Lead client presentations, workshops, strategic working sessions, and consensus-building activities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, coach, and review the work of junior team members while providing direction and feedback.
- Drive innovation, build client relationships, and assist with business development through proposal writing and project scoping.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, information systems, system controls and engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- At least 6 years of technology consulting or software engineering experience, including more than 3 years in architecture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to advise and influence senior clients and BCG case leadership teams.
- Superior technical knowledge, engineering rigor, creative problem-solving ability, and the ability to explain complex technology topics to senior executives.
- Extensive expertise across areas including cloud architecture, FinOps, API and microservices architecture, databases, data platforms, data analytics, AI and GenAI architecture, application modernization, mainframe architecture, DevOps, and AIOps.
- Demonstrated fluency using GenAI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, including validating generated responses.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and work with BCG teams, potentially involving significant travel.
