Responsibilities
- Design, write, validate, document, and maintain clinical programming software and deliverables.
- Support annotated Case Report Forms, database creation, coding configuration, edit checks, import and export processing, listings, and custom reports.
- Lead clinical programming activities for assigned studies, including up to eight concurrent studies depending on scope and resourcing.
- Coordinate with clients, peers, lead programmers, project teams, requestors, and project management stakeholders to finalize specifications and manage delivery.
- Review study-level core deliverables, participate in sponsor and in-progress audits, and ensure accuracy and quality.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, resources, target dates, and potential change orders, escalating issues to management.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to department members.
- Maintain broad knowledge of clinical programming and clinical data management through literature, training, and professional meetings.
Requirements
- Experience and expertise in clinical programming and clinical data management are required, although no specific years of experience are stated.
- Proficiency with Oracle RDC, Oracle Inform, Medidata, Rave, SAS, and supporting clinical programming tools is required.
- Ability to design, write, validate, document, and maintain clinical programming deliverables according to specifications and standard development procedures.
- Ability to lead study programming activities, manage multiple assignments, coordinate resources, and communicate project risks effectively.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders are required.
- Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will be considered.
