Responsibilities
- Design and develop client connectivity platforms and low-latency solutions using Java and HFT frameworks.
- Deliver prioritized connectivity work end to end, including coding, testing, debugging, implementation, enhancements, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with business, development, QA, infrastructure, production support, and external teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for development, support, and technical business users.
- Build and maintain relationships across global technology teams and leverage global tools and technologies.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in low-latency Java development.
- Experience building ultra-low-latency platforms and client connectivity applications.
- Understanding of electronic trading, financial markets, and trading environments.
- Experience with FIX and binary protocols.
- Core Java and Unix/Linux skills.
- Working experience with microservices architecture is preferred.
- Exposure to Open HFT and Chronicle is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
