Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in hands-on coding, code reviews, refactoring, and system design.
- Promote trunk-based development, CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, infrastructure as code, continuous monitoring, and continuous delivery practices.
- Apply unit testing, test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and automation-first practices to improve code quality and reliability.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and enforce secure coding and security compliance standards.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and cross-functional teams on scalable, distributed, and microservices-based systems.
- Optimize deployments, observability, performance, production monitoring, and resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and contribute to design documentation and modern software architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong hands-on coding experience with Java, Angular, SpringBoot, Kafka, and Oracle.
- Deep expertise in system design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in TDD, BDD, automated testing, and maintaining high test coverage.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and secure coding.
- Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.
- Experience or familiarity with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, caching solutions and tooling, trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and adaptability in fast-paced Agile environments.
