Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test programs, test plans, and test cases to verify product quality and functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated test programs, scripts, and tools using SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
- Oversee testing activities and ensure compliance with quality standards at contract manufacturing sites.
- Deploy and validate test equipment at manufacturing sites in the United States and Mexico.
- Analyze test results and recommend product and yield improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a testing engineer at manufacturing sites, including implementing test programs and equipment from scratch or modifying existing programs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.
- At least 2 years of experience downloading firmware and flashing microprocessors.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
- At least 2 years of experience with database and server management.
- At least 2 years of experience maintaining computers and servers.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% to contract manufacturing sites.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field is valued.
- Experience in contract manufacturing, high-volume/low-mix or high-mix/low-volume environments, and Flash JTAG testing methodologies is valued.
