Responsibilities
- Develop mission-critical Workato platform features, including AI chatbot dispatching and synchronous/asynchronous AI execution.
- Build high-performance gateways and routing components.
- Build server-side logging and monitoring infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Collaborate with AI, infrastructure, and SRE teams on platform and AI assistant capabilities.
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, write testable and efficient code, investigate alternatives, and present architectural improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- At least 4 years of backend experience with Go.
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems and understanding large web application components.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and configuration.
- Ruby on Rails experience, open-source contributions, Docker or other isolation technology experience, Redis-based caching, public cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and large-scale REST API experience are preferred.
- Ability to work remotely with globally distributed teams and communicate effectively in English.
