Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and certify software applications.
- Develop and execute automated tests for APIs, web applications, and Mac, iOS, and iPadOS native applications.
- Test features in collaboration with multifunctional engineering and product teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis, log scanning, debugging, and quality investigations.
- Design and develop automation framework architecture and support quality engineering processes, tools, and metrics.
- Test microservices and cloud-based applications, including load, resiliency, and performance testing.
- Support deployment processes, CI/CD integrations, and code-quality checking.
- Build or use AI agents, MCP servers, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered tools to accelerate test automation and engineering workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- At least 2 years of practical automation experience with Java, Swift, or another object-oriented language.
- Experience testing APIs or web services, web applications, or Mac, iOS, and iPadOS native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Karate, RestAssured, Playwright or Selenium, and Appium or XCUI, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of automation framework architecture, design, and development.
- Expertise with quality engineering processes, tools, and metrics.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle and Git repositories.
- Experience in an Agile development environment and with software build tools, deployment processes, CI/CD integrations, and code-quality checking tools.
- Experience testing microservices and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with load, resiliency, and performance testing; exposure to JMeter, Gatling, or Locust is preferred.
- Experience testing AI/ML applications and conducting security and accessibility testing is preferred.
- Experience with AWS or GCP and Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience building or using MCP servers, AI agents, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered tools and integrations for engineering use cases.
