Base Salary
$125k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the dashboard experience, including its visual design, interaction model, functionality, and data-intensive performance.
- Build and evolve Ampersand’s embeddable React UI library, including components and hooks that integrate into customers’ products.
- Rapidly prototype product ideas using AI tools without waiting for designer mocks or approvals.
- Conduct user testing, answer support questions, gather feedback, and use customer input to shape product development.
- Own the full feature-development loop, including design, implementation, documentation, and customer communication.
- Make backend contributions when needed to unblock frontend and product work.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience engineering and designing digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, enterprise software, or technical products.
- Demonstrate strong React skills and full-stack range; willingness to go deeper in Go on the backend is a bonus.
- Be comfortable using and experimenting with AI tools to increase productivity.
- Communicate clearly, articulate design decisions, and independently own feature documentation and technical decisions.
- Have strong product taste and experience making developer tools intuitive; customer-facing developer product experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong product intuition and the ability to work directly with customers to design features rather than only implement specifications.
