Responsibilities
- Develop reusable Next.js and React components that consume Sitecore headless content.
- Integrate Sitecore JSS with Next.js, including environment configuration, API setup, and editing capabilities.
- Build and maintain Sitecore page layouts using components, placeholders, and rendering structures.
- Work in disconnected and connected development modes for component development.
- Optimize UI and UX performance using SSR, SSG, ISR, caching, accessibility, and responsive design practices.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, content teams, and backend teams to deliver scalable front-end solutions.
- Ensure Sitecore components are author-friendly, flexible, and aligned with content models.
- Troubleshoot and enhance Sitecore search and indexing when required.
- Maintain code quality through Git workflows, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, API routes, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture.
- Experience integrating Sitecore JSS, Layout Service, Sitecore GraphQL, and Sitecore XM Cloud or XP.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, TypeScript, and modern CSS approaches such as Tailwind, SCSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components.
- Experience with Node.js, Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment management.
- Experience deploying and optimizing Next.js applications on Vercel or Azure.
- Knowledge of accessibility, WCAG, semantic HTML, structured data, and SEO.
- Nice-to-have experience with Sitecore personalization, Sitecore Content Serialization, SXA, Docker, headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Optimizely, and design systems using Storybook or component libraries.
