Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer platform capabilities, including infrastructure, environments, CI/CD, and observability.
- Identify and resolve developer pain points using data, feedback, and hands-on investigation.
- Develop shared services, tools, and components that improve development speed and quality.
- Promote reliability, automation, maintainability, and broader engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive platform improvements.
- Own operational aspects of systems, including monitoring, SLIs/SLOs, and on-call participation.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of software engineering experience with a platform, infrastructure, or DevOps focus.
- Strong product mindset and passion for improving developer experience.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: C#, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with game development teams is nice to have.
- Background in internal developer platforms or large-scale tooling is nice to have.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, or platform governance is nice to have.
