Base Salary
$146k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop, install, integrate, evaluate, enhance, sustain, test, validate, and troubleshoot cloud software.
- Build cloud-hosted cyber and AI/ML capabilities on large-scale compute clusters and AWS infrastructure.
- Develop distributed software, analytics, event-driven systems, rules-engine-orchestrated analytics, and solutions using parallel-computing technologies.
- Deploy applications in cloud environments and integrate or extend FOSS/COTS products.
- Create software integration and testing plans, test scripts, technical documentation, and related technical specifications.
- Work with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, cloud services, scripting, observability, and security/compliance practices.
Requirements
- Minimum eight years of software development or engineering experience, including requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- At least six years of experience developing software with high-level languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- At least five years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- At least three years of experience in software integration and software testing, including test plans and test scripts.
- Experience with NoSQL products, MapReduce, Hadoop, HDFS, serialization formats such as JSON or BSON, RESTful services, object-oriented systems, cloud deployment, and large-scale analytics.
- Experience in at least four specified analytics or data-domain areas, such as AI techniques, massive datasets, multimedia or language processing, social-network analytics, taxonomies, ontologies, or heterogeneous schemas.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Must hold or obtain an approved certification: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning-Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning-Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
- Preferred qualifications include LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, AWS architecture, AWS SDKs and APIs, CloudFormation or Terraform, observability tools, Java distributed systems, Linux scripting, Kubernetes, and security/compliance practices.
