Base Salary
$70k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and modernize backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance software using JavaScript and other required technologies.
- Develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and support Oracle database interactions using SQL.
- Perform application maintenance, root-cause analysis, issue identification, and defect resolution.
- Implement code changes related to dependency, framework, and technology upgrades.
- Design and implement technical improvements based on customer, program, and operational requirements.
- Support application deployments, troubleshooting, and operational activities in Linux and Docker environments.
- Collaborate with customers, software developers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the stability, reliability, security, performance, and modernization of enterprise applications.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and six years of software development or engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required, or ten years of software development experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience with Java development is required.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL development is required.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular is required.
- Experience developing in Linux is required.
- Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management is required.
- Ability to work between the core hours of 10 AM and 2 PM is required, with case-by-case exceptions considered.
- AWS experience is desired.
- Experience in an Agile development environment is desired.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite is desired.
- Experience with Python is desired.
- Experience with GitLab for version control is desired.
