Base Salary
$135k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis and resolution.
- Develop cloud software and AI/ML capabilities hosted on large-scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Design and integrate cloud services, distributed systems, RESTful services, analytics, and open-source or commercial products.
- Develop and implement software test plans and test scripts and support software integration and validation.
- Produce technical documentation and support mission-focused cyber intelligence capabilities.
Requirements
- Five or more years of directly related software development or engineering experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two years of experience.
- At least four years of experience developing software with high-level languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- At least three years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux operating systems and at least three years of software integration and testing experience.
- Experience with distributed NoSQL products, MapReduce, Hadoop, HDFS, serialization formats such as JSON or BSON, RESTful services, object-oriented system design, and FOSS/COTS integration.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain before starting one listed certification: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning-Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning-Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
- Experience or coursework in at least two desired areas, such as cloud deployment, big-data scalability, automated analytics, taxonomies, event-driven analytics, linguistics, social-network analytics, ontologies, data models, or heterogeneous schemas.
- Preferred qualifications include LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, AWS architecture, AWS SDKs and APIs, CloudFormation or Terraform, observability, Java distributed systems, Linux scripting, Kubernetes, microservices, and security and compliance practices.
