Responsibilities
- Translate requirements from engineering peers, domain experts, and business stakeholders into flexible design solutions.
- Develop, iterate, deploy, and maintain tools and applications supporting large-scale AI cluster design and deployment.
- Design and develop interfaces between disparate third-party tools.
- Own features from requirements and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in an iterative software development environment and deliver work in small increments.
- Participate in code reviews and retrospectives while adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience, including substantial experience building and supporting web applications.
- Proficiency with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript and a framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience developing backend services and APIs with a modern server-side language or framework.
- Experience deploying and operating applications with Linux, containers, CI/CD, and cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
- Experience with automated testing, source control, code review, debugging, and production support.
- Working knowledge of web application security, authentication, authorization, and secure secrets handling.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering.
- Preferred: Linux systems, networking, filesystems, containers, performance tooling, ROCm, RCCL, Instinct GPUs, EPYC platforms, Slurm, Kubernetes for HPC/AI, Apptainer or Singularity, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, Lustre, BeeGFS, object stores, RDMA, and AI/ML/HPC on-premises infrastructure.
- Preferred: ability to document complex systems clearly with diagrams and reproducible steps.
