Responsibilities
- Provide architectural reviews and technical guidance for Support for Mission Critical customers, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
- Own technical deliverables end to end and align solutions with customer outcomes and Microsoft best practices.
- Identify architectural risks, design gaps, and operational inefficiencies across services.
- Conduct proactive engagements, technical assessments, architectural validation, incident prevention, and workload health improvements.
- Collaborate with Microsoft engineering and support teams on escalations, feedback, and platform evolution.
- Create reusable scripts, tools, technical documentation, frameworks, methodologies, and intellectual property.
- Advise customer architects and engineers on long-term technical strategy for stability, resilience, and innovation.
- Mentor and upskill others, lead cross-functional collaboration, share industry insights, and drive scalable customer and partner success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes 10+ years in cloud data platforms with a strong focus on Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI services, Cognitive Services, and OpenAI in secure environments.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, real-time data processing, data engineering, data science workflows, and ML model deployment.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of distributed computing, big data processing, data lake architectures, Azure IaaS, PaaS, and serverless components.
- Familiarity with Cosmos DB and SQL Server is helpful.
- Ability to use debugging tools, trace analysis, and source code to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
- Understanding of networking, security, and resilience in cloud-native applications.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, learning, presentation, and deadline-management skills.
