Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, integrate, and deliver Blue Yonder WMS solutions for customer business and technical processes.
- Serve as a technical liaison among project managers, solution architects, customer contacts, users, executive sponsors, product teams, and support services.
- Conduct functional analysis sessions and develop functional solutions based on customer requirements.
- Provide quality assurance, design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, reporting, label generation, operational consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, and programming support.
- Support product implementations, enhancements, managed services, integrations, and custom projects at customer sites or offshore.
- Conduct knowledge transfer, support post-go-live stabilization and value realization, and help resolve complex issues through trace-file analysis.
- Contribute to the functional consulting practice through practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral, and guidance for support teams.
- Maintain customer and partner relationships, communicate specialized functional information, and travel as business needs require.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of corporate experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Expertise in WMS functional configuration, technical integration, quality assurance, system testing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience configuring a WMS product, preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS.
- Knowledge of interfaces among WMS, ERP/host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, and third-party systems.
- Knowledge of integrations with voice, material-handling, and ASRS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of resolving issues through trace files and the ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, integration and middleware technologies, applications, databases, platforms, and infrastructures.
- Strong customer relationship-building, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
- Knowledge of performance-tuning techniques is an added advantage.
- Ability to work according to organizational skill-set and availability needs and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
