Responsibilities
- Own test activities for assigned projects in an Agile development environment.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to refine backlog items and acceptance criteria.
- Establish automation testing strategies for products under test.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using NUnit and C#.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Use SQL skills for REST API testing.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Developers on product design and test approaches.
- Organize and maintain test script libraries for assigned applications.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, pair programming, and peer reviews.
- Create and maintain test plans and test harnesses, execute scripts, and report results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- At least five years of experience with automation testing frameworks for APIs and UI.
- At least three years of C# and .NET experience, including LINQ, generics, and .NET 6.
- At least three years of experience writing complex T-SQL queries.
- Experience in Agile development methodology within a .NET development environment.
- Proficiency in QA practices, test plans, test harnesses, scripts, execution, and reporting.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, APIs, services, deployments, .NET architecture, and configuration files.
- Knowledge of Postman for manual testing, Agile and Scrum, user stories, and test case management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Pipelines, Dapper, Entity Framework, SpecFlow, JMeter, NeoLoad, LoadRunner, behavior-driven syntax, and payments industry knowledge.
