Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop reusable React and TypeScript UI components, hooks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Design and develop scalable Node.js APIs and backend services, while contributing to Java and Spring Boot development.
- Drive technical decisions for microservices, event-driven, cloud-native, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Design for scalability, performance, resiliency, availability, and security.
- Promote engineering practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, platform teams, and engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance while remaining hands-on.
- Lead proofs of concept, evaluate technologies, and improve architecture maintainability and system performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, with Java identified as a secondary technology for the role.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript, and scalable APIs and backend services.
- Experience with React Hooks, Redux, React Router, reusable UI components, libraries, frameworks, or developer toolkits.
- Strong HTML5 and CSS skills, including styled-components or Emotion.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API management, OAuth, and secure application integration.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka or other event-streaming or messaging technologies.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, Azure or other cloud-native technologies, and cloud scalability.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, architectural thinking, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
