Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for graphics, rendering, and visual computing applications.
- Apply neural network architectures and ML techniques to visual quality, rendering efficiency, image enhancement, denoising, super-resolution, and frame interpolation problems.
- Optimize machine learning workloads and GPU performance for graphics and visual computing systems.
- Use Python and C++ to produce high-quality, maintainable software.
- Apply knowledge of 3D rendering pipelines, GPU architectures, ray tracing, and graphics and compute APIs.
- Collaborate with researchers, graphics engineers, and software developers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Use Git, CMake, debugging tools, profilers, testing, and continuous integration systems in the software development workflow.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in machine learning and neural network architectures.
- Experience developing, training, and optimizing models with modern machine learning frameworks.
- Strong Python and C++ programming skills with an object-oriented programming background.
- Understanding of real-time graphics, 3D rendering pipelines, GPU architectures, and ray tracing.
- Experience optimizing machine learning workloads for GPU platforms.
- Experience applying ML to image enhancement, denoising, super-resolution, frame interpolation, or related visual computing challenges is preferred.
- Understanding of vision transformers, diffusion models, and model optimization techniques such as distillation, quantization, pruning, or compression is preferred.
- Familiarity with Direct3D, Vulkan, CUDA, or OpenCL is preferred.
- Experience with GPU performance optimization, debuggers, source code control systems, profilers, and continuous integration systems is preferred.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field, or relevant industry experience in machine learning, computer vision, graphics, or visual computing.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and English-language skills.
- Experience coding with AI-assisted development tools and agents is preferred.
