Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performing web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Develop and optimize Node.js services that consume REST API endpoints.
- Configure and refine Webpack builds for bundle performance, code splitting, and asset management.
- Create responsive, accessible, reusable UI components with Bootstrap 5 and Redux Toolkit.
- Write unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
- Maintain PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, queries, and data integrity rules.
- Use GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Investigate production and preproduction issues using logs, metrics, and error traces, then implement fixes and refactoring.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and testing strategies.
- Integrate frontend and backend components by validating API contracts, handling edge cases, and enforcing consistent error management.
- Apply advanced TypeScript patterns and strict typing practices.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of progressive software engineering experience delivering complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including modular component development and rendering-performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and REST API consumption, including request flows, error handling, security, and observability practices.
- Practical expertise designing Jest and React Testing Library test suites.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, query optimization, index strategies, schema design, and data integrity enforcement.
- Experience with Redux Toolkit and Bootstrap 5 for state management and responsive interfaces.
- Familiarity with Webpack configuration and performance tuning.
- Disciplined use of GitHub workflows for collaborative software delivery.
