Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to build reliable systems for ride-hailing services and real-time communications between cars and offboard infrastructure.
- Measure system performance and develop automated solutions to improve end-to-end availability and performance.
- Contribute across the service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Design and implement software that improves system architecture and telemetry, prevents outages, and reduces mean time to mitigation.
- Participate in on-call incident response and blameless retrospectives as a frontline reliability engineer.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing clean, efficient code in C++, Java, and/or Python.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or similar experience.
- Interest in distributed systems, production engineering, transportation technologies, and autonomous driving.
- Experience or demonstrated ability as an individual contributor building scalable, high-quality software is preferred.
- 3+ years of industry experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field is preferred.
