Base Salary
$189k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and improve systems with resilience and graceful degradation in mind.
- Define and measure SLOs and SLIs that reflect customer experience.
- Use observability tools to build visibility into production systems.
- Configure and improve alerting and routing through incident management workflows.
- Participate in incident response from detection to resolution.
- Continuously improve the incident lifecycle and documentation.
- Construct or optimize infrastructure and reliability tooling.
- Help engineering teams improve production readiness and deployment safety.
- Communicate reliability concepts clearly across teams.
- Contribute to a culture of shared reliability between SRE and product engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on coding experience in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience operating production systems and contributing to reliability improvements.
- Working knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, and reliability data.
- Experience using logs, metrics, and alerts to diagnose production issues.
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and incident processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and write useful documentation.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Interest in mentoring peers and growing impact across teams.
